NEW ORLEANS – Portions of the Hercules drilling rig that is on fire in the Gulf of Mexico started to collapse Wednesday. That’s right people. We suck again.
At least this time It’s not an oil rig, right? Wrong. When will we learn our lesson and upgrade our energy sources and ways of harnessing clean energy. News stations are reporting it’s not a big deal, and that we are lucky it is natural gas and not oil. Apparently, these reporters haven’t seen the Gas land documentary and lack knowledge about the effects natural gas has on water quality.
I guess the only good thing about the situation is it gives me an excuse to blast Bloodhound gang’s The roof is on fire. I suppose it could help beef up our boarders. “Floating across the gulf of mexico oust to be easy before toxic oil and natural gas explosions” said grandpa sombrero.
